| THE ATTORNEY
Gregory E. Turley has nearly 20 years experience in Civil and
Business Law matters. He is unique in his joint knowledge and
experience in both Civil Law and Criminal Law . He has worked
on both sides as counsel for both civil plaintiffs and
defendants, and as Criminal Prosecutor and Defense Attorney.
For the past 10 years, Gregory Turley has
practiced law in the Rio Grande Valley (Hidalgo, Cameron,
Starr and Willacy counties). In that period, the Valley has
continued to grow both in employment and construction.
During that time he has served as
Assistant City Attorney for the City of McAllen, Texas and the
City of Alamo, Texas as Municipal Prosecutor. He has
participated in numerous jury and bench trials, in both
criminal and regulatory matters.
Prior to his law practice in McAllen,
Gregory Turley practiced law in private practice in Houston
and League City, Texas. He was an active member of the Clear
Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
This diverse experience makes Gregory
Turley quite familiar with State-wide law practice. He
regularly does legal work in San Antonio, Laredo and Corpus
Christi, Texas for his clients.
Gregory Turley is also a trained and
experienced Mediator. He has a certificate for the 40 hour
Mediation Training required by most courts in 2005. As a
result of his interest in this area, he was the Settlement
Week Committee chairman during his time on the Board of
Directors of the Hidalgo County Bar Association.
Licensed as a Texas attorney since 1992
to practice in all Texas courts, he is also specially
admitted to the following U.S. courts:
US District Court, Southern District of
Texas (District Court and Bankruptcy Court)
Western District of Texas
US Tax Court
He is also a member of the Texas State
Bar College for outstanding CLE achievements. Members qualify
by obtaining twice the required amount of continuing legal
education per year for Texas attorneys.
