The different types of civil litigation are as diverse as the businesses and individuals involved.
Some examples are:

The Law Office of Gregory E. Turley handles mostly all civil litigation on an hourly basis.   This has a major benefit to the client of keeping legal expenses down.  Since many civil matters are resolved early, the client simply pays for the time incurred, instead of agreeing to give up a sizable portion of the ultimate recovery.  It also is a method of client expense control. 

Much of the legal work is done before any lawsuit is filed.  In the investigation phase, the lawyer will:

• Ascertain what was the agreement?

• What are the conditions that may not have occurred?

• What is the chance of recovery?

In many larger transactions there is an aspect of credit extended, typically by the supplier/repairer/ seller.  Because it is not commonly thought of as extending credit, little to no creditworthiness is established.    Legal problems then become financial problems as well.
